Write-Protect USB to protect the flash-disk from virus threats ...

advertisements: Along with the rapid advancement in technology development course is also accompanied with threats like viruses, spyware and malware. Viruses in general not just attack the computer (hard disk) but can also infect other hardware devices such as flash disk once connected.

USB Write-Protect is a software that you can use to protect flash disk from virus attacks, there are three features in these tools, namely, Write Protection USB Device, USB Device and USB Device Lock Autorun. But this time we only discuss a USB Device Write Protection feature.

Step-by-step using the USB Write-Protect:
  1. Once the download is complete, please move USB Write Protect in to flash disk that will protect.
  2. Once you move, please double click to run USB Write-Protect
  3. Please click the "Enable" to the right on the menu "USB Device Write Protection"
  4. Dislodged the flash from the computer plugs
  5. After that, please plug the flash disk to try, whether you're flash disk is protected or not. You can try to add any file. If cannot insert files, means you've successfully to flash disk protected.
Note:
To remove protection or restore your flash disk to original settings, please open the back USB Write-Protect program is in the flash disk you earlier and click "Disable" on the menu to the right of the "USB Device Write Protection", dislodged the flash disk and please you try to re-connect your flash disk to computer. If you've been able to insert files in to flash disk, it means protection you made above were defuncts.
